The State of Alaska and Governor Palin is allocating $8.9 million to begin the design and construction process for the access road to the South Denali Visitor Center. Federal and local partners will contribute the remaining funds to design and build the center. We collected LIDAR which will give us detailed topographic information to do the best design possible for the access road. This exciting project is moving forward thanks to the efforts of many people both from agencies and from the public. We appreciate your support of this project.
